Happy HOTT day! I’m pretty happy about my recent finds. Honestly I haven’t been thrifting as often as I used to, so when I get a chance to go it’s pretty exciting. We’ve been on a mission to organize the places in our home that are often ignored – under sinks and in cabinets and pantries – so the main things I’ve been on the search for are baskets, bins, anything to put other things in. I’ve been lucky to find some great options at insanely cheap prices. And as a plus I sometimes find something cute along the way.
Like this freaking score:
Before y’all get mad at me for just finding this on a shelf, let me assure you that was not how it went down. No ma’am, I pulled this from under a pile of things in a cart ready to be put out like a legitimate crazy thrift lady thank you very much!
Me: “hi, are these things being put out?”
Scared looking employee: “yes”.
::me, grabbing floral perfection from the bottom::
SLE: “there are even more suitcases over there if you’re looking for more”.
Me, running away with suitcase: “no no I’m fine with this oneeeeeeee!” ::clicks heel jump::
ahem.
(it’s for Harper. She likes to store her toys in things. It was $3.99. I know.)
This basket hangs and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get a flowering plant and hang it right outside our door. There is a hook but I’ve never put anything there and dangit I want pretty flowers hanging outside my door. I only wish I had more space inside – then I’d get a rad indoor plant that spiders down and hang it in a corner. It was $1.99.
This little guy was just cute. And 99 cents. And basically just cute.
I can’t wait to see what you guys have been up to the past 2 weeks! Link up your recent thrifty finds posts below.
